what do i do when my ipod classic gen. 5 runs hot. and makes a sad face with a hazard sign infront of it?

and it continues to make a clicking sound and then shuts down... is it broke?

1. Yup. Same thing happened to me. You need to get a new one. Take it to the apple store and they might replace it depending when u got it.
