- You're surprised? What do you think that stuff does to your insides? That's why they dilute it before selling it.
- Actually there is quite a bit of phosphoric acid in cola syrup concentrate. Phosphoric acid in that concentration is hazardous. It's much more dilute in the can.
- That's at least as much a comment on HazMat rules as it is on cola. While there's a good deal of phosphoric acid in cola syrup, it's also true that regulators have required Hazmat warnings on piles of brick, sandpiles, and other such innocuous substances.
- Even coke in a dilute form is still fairly corrosive. Have you ever use it to shine up old coins and stuff like that. Imagine what it does to your teeth : /
