  1. Green means interstate or road, can be information. Though Blue is usually for information. Yellow is warning White is speed limits/street signs Red is caution If you want more information you can go to the DMV website for your state.

  3. it all depends if you mean traffic sins or safety / hazard signs in industry for traffic try DMV - department of motor vehicles DPS - dpartment of public safety for industry OSHA - occupational safety / hazard administration
  4. blue is information, green is road info. red is STOP. http://www.ask.com/bar?q=what+do+sign+colors+mean%3F&page=1&qsrc=0&ab=4&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.trafficsign.us%2Fsigncolor.html
  5. It depends on the sign type and its intended function. Here is a link to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/Signs/results.cfm?type=all
  6. Blue or Brown means information. Brown is often used for names of parks or recreational areas; Blue is often used to tell of rest stops. Green is mainly for names of streets, avenues, alleys, exits, exit numbers (especially on expressways). You will see them a lot on highways, tollways, and expressways, and also on main thoroughfares and interchanges. White is for "regulatory warnings". For example....signs like.... Obey Lane Signal Weigh Station--All Trucks Must Weigh Left Lane Must Turn Left Crossing Solid White Line Prohibited Orange is mainly for road construction purposes. You will often see sings of this color like.... Left Lane Closed--1 Mile Road Construction Ahead Narrow Road Grooved Surface Flagger Ahead Flagperson Ahead Red often means something relating to having to stop or you are going the wrong way. Often this is used for "stop" signs. It is also used on "Yield" signs or "Wrong Way" signs. Moreover.... A red circle with a slash over it on anything within it means something or doing something is prohibited, forbidden, or not allowed. For example, the uppercase "P" with a red circle inside it with a red slash means "Parking Forbidden".
