where in Los Angeles are some of the worst streets to drive in as far as traffic, dangers and bad pavements?
I'm bearly getting my licsence and since I'm a new driver I wanted to know what streets are really fast and dangerous for a new drive like me? Traffic jams are easy to handle because you are going really slow and are just sitting there. But I'm talking about confusing roads, signs on the streets, bad pavement, dangerous drivers and a mixed of other hazards.

- The worst streets for bad pavement and confusing signs in the USA I have foud are in Boston. Actually, the LA area is has about the best signage you will see anywhere in the world. Other countries come here to study the LA area. Really around LA, most streets with lights are 40 to 45 zones and run fast. The climate though makes it easy on the roads and while there ate some potholes, especially in the city of LA itself, really, it is nothing compared to Boston. Beyond that, traffic wise, while there is a lot of it in the LA area we do a pretty good job keeping the mayhem down to no worse than average everywhere. When my daughter learned to drive two years ago, she went in 3 months from a timid driver terrified to go down Harbor Blvd in Orange County to ripping through the desert by the Salton Sea in my Miata at 3 digit velocities. Myself, my Miata was totaled last year on what is considered a very safe and well marked road, Bake Parkway because some guy ran a red. And there was an open field at that corner and he could have seen me coming from a half mile away. It can happen anywhere.
