I cant enable WLAN on my HP Laptop?
The wireless assistant says to enable it in the device manager but i cant see it. I enabled the network adapter in the BIOS settings but still no change in the device manager, i double clicked on the wireless network adapter in the device manager and it says 'device cannot start' and when i click 'check for solutions' nothing happens. There is a hazard sign on the wireless network adapter icon. What now????

- Download the latest drivers or call HP. Hp tech support is good.
- Has the wireles ever worked for you Maybe you need to download HP Drives if that doesn't work then contact HP Support
- 2 possible issues: 1) Are you sure the wireless hardware switch is ON? Most laptops come with switch on the side, front or top to turn ON/OFF the wireless feature. Make sure the switch is ON. 2) Drivers for the bullt-in wireless card are missing. You need to got to HPs website, find the correct driver, download and install it.
- update the adapter drivers from the CD that came with your laptop (utilities CD) or you can download the drivers from the HP website. you need also to make sure that the device is turned on
